Meet PRASANNA the founder of Mallard Impex its subsidiary Rooted Weave. With over two decades of experience in the IT industry, Prasanna 's career spanned from the creative world of Ogilvy & Mather to the global Retail giant of Walmart, where he specialized in design, product development and Customer Insights . His work took him across the globe, exposing him to unique products with rich histories and legacies in different countries.

These travels sparked a powerful idea: to bring India's own heritage products to the world stage. Prasanna realized that his country's best artisans and their centuries-old traditions were a treasure waiting to be shared.

Driven by this new purpose, he founded Mallard Impex. The company's journey began with two key products:

• Coffee: Recognizing Karnataka's rich coffee heritage, which spans over 200 years, Anand is committed to sharing this legacy with coffee lovers worldwide.

• Hand-Woven Carpets: Deeply moved by the skilled artisans of Rajasthan, who meticulously hand-weave each carpet, Anand felt a personal connection to their craft. He is dedicated to bringing these beautiful, hand-woven pieces to a global audience, ensuring the legacy of these artisans endures.
